​In 2022, I achieved a significant aviation milestone in 2022, when I completed   flight training for a Second in Command (SIC) Type Rating in the Embraer 505 Phenom 300 turbojet, and I served as a First Officer for a year.  In 2023, I took another major step in my retirement vocation and completed pilot upgrade training in Dallas, TX, where I earned the Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and Pilot in Command (PIC) Type Rating in the Embraer Phenom 300 (light jet).   In 2024, I transitioned from flying for a 135 operator and returned to my love of teaching.   I completed the PIC initial type rating in the Gulfstream G-280 (super mid-size jet) that same year and I now teach simulator and ground school for other pilots seeking the same rating.
